Balder Junior is an electric wheelchair that will grow with your child, providing more independence and greater confidence in mastering new challenges. Balder Junior is our model designed for children, offering a wide range of standard and customized options that allow us to build a wheelchair according to the child's needs. The seating solution provides an exceptionally wide range of movement, enabling playing, comfortable sitting at a desk or table, reaching high and low, or relaxing in comfortable positions without the need for additional chairs or aids.
What makes the Junior chair so special are all the seating positions it can adopt. In the Junior chair, your child can be raised as high as 80 cm and lowered as low as 35 cm from the ground. They can also lie flat, tilt back up to 45°, and tilt forward up to 15°, which also enables resting and care in the chair.
Built to last and grow with your child, the Junior chair's seat and leg rests can be adjusted, so as your child grows, the chair will too.
Junior comes with 5 electric seat functions as standard, including an impressively fast seat lift that can raise and lower the child to extreme heights in a short amount of time, and a "tilt-in-space" function that allows the child to tilt backward and forward. The forward tilt is a very useful feature that makes it easier to get in and out of the chair.
Balder Junior can also be equipped with a standing function. This is one of the market's fastest standing functions, but you can control the speed as all seat functions are progressive, allowing you to adjust the speed with the joystick.
Balder Junior has front-wheel drive, is gyro-stabilized, and has a maximum driving speed of 10km/h. The wheelchair has a remarkably small footprint, making it highly maneuverable indoors, in vehicles, and in tight spaces.
